Navy is definitely the new black  (although Eva Longoria and Julianna Margulies proved that its anything but basic). Also seeing lots of plum and violet shades on the red carpet and in particular on the eyelids. Stronger and more defined that springtime looks - its a beautiful compliment to this season’s hot camel, army and leopard trends. Hair was loose and tousled and makeup was sexy yet simple. Lashes and glowing skin were definitely the look du jour.

While looking through the just-arrived Fall fashion glossies, we’re sure you’ve come across THE beauty look for the season: the red lip. Yeah, yeah, yeah - the red lip - we know you’ve heard it before - but read our lips - its newer, fresher and more modern. It’s brighter, its glossier and definitely makes a statement. Work it with a strong brow, barely-there mascara and a well-blended foundation. For a less intentional look, try it without lip-liner by dabbing the lipstick onto the center of your lips, then press the lips together a few times so it begins to blend to the outer corners. Pair with a matte apricot-toned blush. Try our Micro Red or Impulse shades.
